The Phoenix

Rising above the Hudson River and The Palisades from its perch in Dobbs Ferry sits The Phoenix.

Located at 66 Main Street in the heart of Dobbs Ferry’s redeveloping downtown, this building was one of the first projects completed under the Village’s Vision Plan. The Phoenix replaced two outdated and historically insignificant mixed used buildings headed for demolition with a “context-based” transit-oriented redevelopment adding downtown residences and commercial to help foster a walkable downtown, where residents support local businesses on Main Street and also are able to reach the train to NYC and Hudson River waterfront on foot.

With two local businesses at street level, Eyes on the Hudson - an appropriately named ophthalmologist - and a local dental studio, and featuring 16 apartment homes rising above and overlooking Main Street, the Hudson River and the Croton Aqueduct, The Phoenix symbolically led the rebirth of Dobbs Ferry.

Two penthouse apartments have rooftop terraces and many of the apartments have expansive views of the Hudson River and New York City to the south and The Palisades and points west where the sunsets are spectacular. The apartments at the rear are quiet and peaceful with terraces overlooking the greenway of the Croton Aqueduct.

All of the apartments are state-of-the art with designer kitchens and bathrooms; in-unit washers and dryers; individual HVAC systems; a Butterfly keyless entry system for residents and visitors and secure package delivery.

The Phoenix is directly across the street from the Dobbs Ferry Public Library and adjacent to many cafes, restaurants and local shops, and all within walking distance of the Metro North train stop which is 38 minutes to Grand Central Station.
